Parking and Directions
Parking is allowed on non-school days behind Colt Memorial School next door to Linden Place. Turn east on Bradford Street and right on Central Street to reach the parking entrance on Wardwell Street. Large buses are advised to find parking on side streets.
On school days, there is ample free, on-street parking available on Hope Street and the surrounding side streets. Public parking is also available behind the Rogers Free Library located across the street from Linden Place.
Linden Place is located across the street from the State Street stop on the #60 RIPTA bus route.
There is no parking on the property itself.
From Providence
Take I-195 East to Route 114 South (RI Exit 7) to Barrington/Bristol. Travel approx. 12 miles. Linden Place will be on your left at 500 Hope Street (Route 114) just next door to a huge marble school house. For parking, take a left at Bradford St., just before the Colt School (huge marble school house). Take first right onto Central St. and a right onto Wardwell St. Park behind the Colt School in the parking lot.
From Boston
Take Route 24 South to RI Exit 2 (Portsmouth/Bristol). Turn right and continue over the Mount Hope Bridge. After the bridge, stay left to follow Route 114 North. After a few miles, Linden Place will be on your right just past State Street. For off-street parking, continue past Linden Place to Bradford St. Take a right, and again take the first right onto Central St. Take a right onto Wardwell St. Parking lot behind the Colt School is available on the right.
From Newport
follow Route 114 North (West Main Road) over the Mount Hope Bridge. After the bridge, stay left to follow Route 114 North. After a few miles, Linden Place will be on your right just past State Street. For off-street parking, continue past Linden Place to Bradford St. Take a right, and again take the first right onto Central St. Take a right onto Wardwell St. Parking lot behind the Colt School is available on the right.
